Meet the pack

Hi, I’m David Helmers, the owner (and Alpha) of Wolfpack Workshop, based in Columbus, Ohio. As a mechanical design engineer, I thrive on solving challenges and turning creative ideas into real, functional solutions. Wolfpack Workshop is where my passion for design, innovation, and problem-solving comes to life through custom-designed and engineered 3D printed parts.

In 2021, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cedarville University (Go Jackets!). I’m also a Certified SolidWorks Professional and have been creating detailed 3D designs since 2016. Since diving into 3D printing in 2019, I’ve focused on blending technical expertise with creativity to deliver reliable, custom 3D printed parts for a wide range of needs.

Wolfpack Workshop is a true team effort. My wife, Janey, brings her creative eye to the business, handling product photography, marketing and graphic design. She helps showcase the quality and detail in everything we make.
