The 3 most valuable things I learned while starting my own business in 2025:

2025 started with the launch of our business, Wolfpack Workshop, and January 2026 marks the wrap-up of our first year!  🥳

I’ve learned so much about 3D Printing, engineering, and business in general this year. Here are my top takeaways from 2025:

1. Don’t be afraid to try something new. When given an opportunity, even if it’s a job that’s out of your comfort zone, dive right in. You’ll FIND A WAY if you apply yourself & don’t stop until you find a solution.

I had the opportunity to work with several materials this year that I hadn’t previously used. Although frustrating at times, these opportunities allowed me to learned so much about problem solving, patience, and perseverance.

2. Printing with multiple materials:
 With the purchase of my Bambu Labs H2D, I discovered a whole new area of 3D printing. I learned that printing support structures with a different material can really improve the cleanness of a finished part.

I’m also learning that there’s a delicate balance between the way different materials interact with each other. I’m narrowing in on finding that sweet spot where the support materials do their job, but don’t refuse to stick at all. Still working on this daily, into 2026!

3. Work CERTAINLY isn’t everything. With our current stage in life– trying to save for our first house, starting a business while continuing to work full-time, and a baby on the way in spring, life can be overwhelming if I let it. I’ve found that when I put the first things first (living for God & growing in the relationships He’s blessed our life with) all the work somehow, miraculously, still gets done!
